What we do
In partnership with Faculties and Divisions the Equity and Diversity Unit manages:
The Unit also:

provides advice on policies and programs that promote diversity and equity for all staff and students in the context of anti-discrimination and equal opportunity legislation

monitors and evaluates progress towards equity and diversity goals and reports to State and Federal government agencies as required

facilitates training programs to promote cross-cultural communication, diversity management and awareness of rights and responsibilities under national and state anti-discrimination legislation

promotes social inclusion and partnerships with other sectors and community based organisations to improve access and employment outcomes

takes an evidence based approach to the design and implementation of all its programs.
