Melbourne Campus at Burwood

The Melbourne Campus at Burwood is Deakin's thriving metropolitan campus, attracting more than 12 000 undergraduate and postgraduate on-campus students.

Located alongside Gardiner's Creek parklands in Melbourne's eastern suburbs, the campus is well served by public transport and is about 45 minutes by tram from the city centre.

An ambitious redevelopment program over the past few years has transformed the campus into a contemporary, customised learning environment, including distinctive new buildings that are now landmarks in the Burwood area. The redevelopment has included the creation of a large landscaped central courtyard, new Science and Technology and Health and Behavioural Sciences buildings and a new Contemporary Arts building, which includes the ICON Gallery housing part of the University art collection.

• A current Public Liability Insurance certificate must be produced if clients have their own cover, otherwise a charge of $55 per booking will be applied
• These rates are for hiring of the venue only; charges for cleaning, security, public liability insurance and AV support are additional costs
