    • How to create a direct link to The Guide

    Use the following instructions to create a direct, permanent hyperlink to a policy, procedure or other document in The Guide. There are different methods depending on whether you use Mozilla Firefox or Internet Explorer as your web browser.

    Using Mozilla Firefox:

    1. Navigate through The Guide to the policy or procedure that you wish to link to.
    2. Right click with your cursor anywhere in the body of the policy or procedure.
    3. Select 'This frame' and then select 'Open frame in new tab'.
    4. Click on the new tab. The policy or procedure will open without the standard blue frame that normally appears when you are in The Guide.
    5. Copy the URL in the address bar of the web browser. Use this URL to create a permanent, direct link to the policy or procedure.

    Using Internet Explorer:

    1. Navigate through The Guide to the policy or procedure that you wish to link to.
    2. Right click with your cursor anywhere in the body of the policy or procedure.
    3. Select 'Properties'.
    4. Copy the URL that is listed next to 'Address (URL)'.
    5. Use this URL to create a permanent, direct link to the policy or procedure.
