The Space Utilisation team ensures that the University’s physical resources are aligned to the University’s strategic direction. This team manages the current and future space needs of the University, providing guidance in any preliminary discussions as well as driving the development of new teaching areas.
The team actively monitors space usage and with this data provides key insight into space utilisation and assistance in formulating new key space strategies. Space Utilisation maintains the University’s timetabling system, driving the efficient allocation of teaching events to spaces.
Information on space allocations and the University’s drawings database (including architectural and building services drawings) are also maintained by this business area.
