Office of the Director

The Financial Services Division brings together a range of services and facilities for the students and staff of the University.

Led by the Director of Corporate Finance, Mr Brian Smart, the division works in partnership with all areas of the University to achieve a strong service culture in the provision of financial assistance, support and guidance.

The Director takes personal responsibility for the following areas of financial control:

  • Development of financial policies
  • Effective reporting and committee support
  • Investment and treasury management
  • Oversight of controlled and associated entities
  • Prevention and control of fraud and corruption
  • Systematic compliance and control frameworks
