Credit for prior learning

If you have studied at a post-secondary institution previously and would like these studies credited to your Deakin degree, you will need to apply for Credit for Prior Learning. To find out more, visit www.deakin.edu.au/future-students/applications-enrolments/applications/credit.php.

To apply for Credit for Prior Learning on enrolment day, you will need to bring three things:

  1. a certified copy of your academic transcript
  2. a key to your results
  3. an extract from your previous institution’s handbook showing details of the course structure and the credit point weightings, unit names, codes, content and assessment method.
