When evaluating the information supplied, the University recognises that each study score represents the Victorian Curriculum and Assessment Authority's best available measure of learning achieved in the subject. Adjustments to ranking will be made only where there is evidence that chronic circumstances mean Year 12 learning is not a reliable guide to the applicant's potential for success in the course. All applicants will be considered individually, but in almost all cases the expectation is that such adjustment to ranking will be minor.
For courses offered directly by the University (mid-year undergraduate) you need to submit:
VTAC SEAS applications open in August and close in early October. Make sure you're aware of VTAC SEAS application closing dates .
Deakin offers many different scholarships, awards and prizes.
Applicants must provide evidence as outlined in the category evidence table (23 KB).
Please ensure that all photocopies are legible and on A4 paper, and visas and stamps must be easy to read. Please attach all photocopies to your application. Only correctly certified photocopied documentation will be considered. The category table also outlines those who are authorised to certify documents. Please do not send originals of official documentation.
Year 11/12 Special Consideration is aimed at assisting those current Year 12 students who have experienced circumstances that can be demonstrated to have had an adverse impact on their performance in the final two years of secondary school.
