Follow all the application steps and provide all relevant information regarding previous study and work experience. When applying online you will be required to upload all supporting documents at the last step of the application process. If you are unable to upload your documents when you initially submit your online application, electronic or hard copies must be submitted within five working days. A complete set of certified documents attached to the supporting documents cover sheet (47KB) must be submitted for each course preference you have made.
Electronic documents submitted after your initial application must be sent via Submit-docs.
Online Applications
To view the status of your application, you can login to the online portal at any time using the username and password sent to your email account at the time of registration.
If your application is successful, you will receive a formal email response from Deakin University advising you to login to the online portal and accept/decline the offer.
Once you have accepted your offer, you will then be mailed an 'Enrol at Deakin' information pack providing you an easy step-by-step guide to enrolling in your course.

Admission to candidature is normally granted on the basis of a Bachelors degree with Honours or a Masters degree with a substantial research component.
It is expected that a candidate for a doctoral program will have achieved the standard of at least second class Honours (upper division); and that a candidate for a Masters degree will have achieved the standard of second class Honours.
Other qualifications may be accepted if the Higher Degrees by Research Committee considers them as equivalent and there is demonstrated evidence of research ability.
Applicants who do not meet the formal entry requirements may be admitted to provisional candidature. In such cases the Committee will prescribe a course of advanced study followed by formal assessment.
