How and when can I apply?

Most undergraduate courses commence at the start of the year, so applications are made the year before through VTAC. Some undergraduate courses offer places to start in Trimester 2 and 3 and applications are made direct to Deakin.

Trimester 1

Applications for Trimester 1 are made through the Victorian Tertiary Admissions Centre (VTAC).

Trimester 2 and 3

 Applications for Trimester 2 and 3 are made directly to Deakin through the Deakin University Course and Scholarships Applicant Portal.

Access and Equity

Credit for prior studies (credit for prior learning)

If you have previously studied at a post-secondary institution or have relevant work experience and would like to have these considered for credit towards your Deakin degree, visit the credit for prior learning page.
