Course overview
If you have completed an undergraduate degree at Deakin University or another tertiary institution and you have a good academic record, you may apply to undertake the Bachelor of Health Sciences (Honours). This honours degree comprises a combination of coursework and a research project. In the project you will work with a supervisor and gain an insight into research. On successful completion of your honours degree you may apply to enter masters and doctoral programs by research.Fees and charges
Fee paying place - International (IFP)A Fee paying place is one for which the University does not receive any government funding. As such, students enrolled in these places are required to contribute the full cost of their course.
Fees for international students apply to persons living in Australia with Temporary Resident status, provided that there is no limitation on study and persons living abroad who are not Australian citizens and do not have Permanent Resident status in Australia.
Equivalent Full Time Student Load (EFTSL)
EFTSL is the standard annual full time load. Eight credit points is the standard full time load for one year of study.

Course rules
The course comprises of 8 credit points of study, including two coursework units in research methods and research issues and an independent research project. Part-time students are required to complete the coursework components in their first year of study.
