The Science and Technology – Dean’s Scholars Program aims to recognise, reward and nurture high achieving students. A minimum ATAR of 90 is required for entry into this course.
Scholarships worth $5000 will be awarded annually across the Faculty to applicants who have recently completed Year 12 and who have been admitted through VTAC. Scholarship recipients are assigned an academic mentor throughout their course, and receive career development guidance. Students are required to maintain a high level of academic achievement. Students have the opportunity to undertake industry-based learning (IBL) as part of their course.
Students are able to select any one of the undergraduate degrees offered by the Faculty of Science, Engineering and Built Environment (Architecture and Construction Management, Environmental Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Science, Biomedical Science, Biological Science and Forensic Science) on their preferred Deakin Campus through a single VTAC preference (course prerequisites apply). Note that not all courses are available on all Campuses.
