Course overview
The Bachelor of Information Technology (Honours) aims to provide graduates with an excellent understanding of the breadth of their discipline in Information Technology and an awareness of the career opportunities available. Graduates will be equipped with the skills for life long learning, an essential professional attribute in this rapidly evolving field.
The coursework component of the course provides students with essential theoretical knowledge, while the research project provides the practical skills necessary to provide a strong foundation in research.
Professional recognition
Graduates of the Bachelor of Information Technology courses are eligible for full professional membership of the Australian Computer Society (ACS).Fees and charges
Equivalent Full Time Student Load (EFTSL)EFTSL is the standard annual full time load. Eight credit points is the standard full time load for one year of study.
Commonwealth supported place (CSP)
A Commonwealth supported place is one for which the university receives some government funding. As such, students enrolled in these places are required to contribute only part of the cost of their course. To be eligible for a Commonwealth supported place you must be an Australian citizen, or a New Zealand citizen or holder of a permanent visa who will be residing in Australia for the duration of your unit/s of study.

To be eligible for admission, applicants must have successfully completed a Bachelor of Information Technology, or equivalent, plus have an overall level of academic performance of 65% or greater in their level 3 units.How to apply
