Demand for civil and water engineers has been rising due to expansions in infrastructure around the world. In addition to this fresh water is an essential resource for any country or industry planning for a sustainable future. Industrialisation and urban development is impacting water scarcity at an alarming rate and solutions for this need to be found. Graduates will develop an in-depth knowledge to plan, design, construct and maintain the infrastructure systems that are necessary for our day-to-day lives such as roads, bridges, railways; water supply and sewerage systems; water resources management; and structural buildings.
