Students will be notified of the offerings for ALW394 at the time of re-enrolment. Students must select one third-year seminar from those offered, and for which they have already successfully completed the second-year prerequisite. Students must notify the Unit Chair of their seminar selection prior to the commencement of the unit.


A unit of guided writing projects offers students the possibility to explore at an advanced level a particular area of professional and creative writing and/or editing. Students will be offered a range of seminar options to choose from. In each of ALW393 and ALW394, students will choose one offering from a range of up to three in each unit. The project will have a written 5000 word outcome, or equivalent depending on genre/project, as indicated by Unit Chair.
