Content
The unit aims to enable students to develop understanding of, and practice in, current approaches in coaching and counselling for behaviour change including:
Assessment
Assignment 1: Critical analysis of coaching sessions with a client (4 x 1 hour sessions).
Part (a) - Critical analysis of sessions 1-2 (1500 words) 40%.
Part (b) - Critical analysis of sessions 3-4 (1500 words) 40%.
Assignment 2: Reflective practice diary. Minimum of six entries, equivalent to 1800 words, 20%
Tutorial attendance: Students will be required to attend a minimum of 80% of the weekly on-campus Tutorials as a hurdle requirement to obtain a pass or above in the unit. Tutorials will be 3 hours duration per week.
