Content
The unit aims to provide students with an opportunity to take part in, as part of their degree, a wholly team based placement.
The purpose of this team based internship, as one of the units in the suite of WIL unit offerings in the Faculty, is to allow students an opportunity to gain a professional work placement with an approved host organisation for a 100-120 hour placement to facilitate learning within a team structure. Students will learn in and with the team, with the intention of then critically reflecting on their placement, their graduate attributes and employability competencies through a continuous assessment process.
Assessment
Assessment 1 (individual) - pre-placement assignment - 20%, Assessment 2 (individual) - mid-placement reflection - 10%, Assessment 3 (team project) 50%, Assessment 4 (individual) - post-placement reflection - 20%
