Content

The unit provides the underlying concepts and purpose of commercial law. It covers the Australian legal system, the law relating to contract, business relationships and negligence.

Assessment

Assessment 1 (Individual) – Essay (1500 words) – 20%

Assessment 2 (Individual) - Case study report (1500 words) - 20%

Examination (2 hours) – 60%

Hurdle requirement: Achieve at least 50% for the marks available on the examination.
