Content
This research unit provides candidates with grounding in qualitative research methods used in conducting a higher degree by research thesis in a business discipline. It provides candidates with the skills and knowledge so that they can write their methodology chapter for their thesis. The chapter will be well-grounded conceptually, conducted systematically and analysed soundly in a qualitative research framework. Students in the unit write three assignments, which enable them to produce a complete first draft of the methods chapter. The written material will be linked to the literature review underlying the study and to be able to address the research questions that flow from it.
