Content

This unit contributes towards the development of the student as a responsible global citizen. The main aim of this unit is to improve students’ awareness and appreciation of the complexity of conducting business in an increasingly multicultural and interconnected world. The unit focuses on developing the attitudinal, relational and intellectual skills necessary to understand the social, cultural, political and economic environmental landscape for businesses. The unit takes a particular focus on increasing students’ ability to gain a better appreciation of foreign cultures, customs, traditions as well as knowledge of global competition and international practices.

Assessment

Major project: 5 minute video essay (max. 600 points), maximum of 3 individual assessment activities (100 points each, except for one option 200 points).

 

HD = 900-1000 points; D = 800-899 points; C = 700-799 points; P = 500-699 points; F= less than 500 points.
