Content

This unit integrates students' knowledge of business and management to develop their strategic thinking and decision making. It includes an examination and application of the concepts, theories and tools of strategic management as they apply to both private and public sector organisations. The unit uses a virtual business simulation model to allow students gain hands-on practical experience with strategy formulation, implementation and evaluation.

Assessment

Assessment 1 (Individual) - Case Study (2500 words) - 25%

Assessment 2 (Group of 3-4 students) - Research Report (3000 words) - 25%

Examination 2 hours - 50%
