Campus: 1 x 1 hour class per week, 1 x 2 hour seminar per week. 

Cloud (online): Learning experiences are via CloudDeakin. Students are expected to participate in collaborative online seminars in CloudDeakin.


This unit exposes students to a range of professional skills and gives them an opportunity of experiencing them in an organisational setting. It presents a variety of contemporary practices used in the development and management of information technology systems. The unit covers business communication and documentation; team work; collaboration and negotiation. The unit also focuses on the impact of information technology on society, investigates ethical and professional issues and prepares students for work as IT professionals.
