In this studio, Architectural Design will be explored with a major focus on the public role of Architecture and it’s relevance and responsibility to define the urban structure.

Major areas of exploration include: Urban critical site analysis; the social and public role of architecture; introduction to urban complexity; programmatic performance of the built environment, and the integration of technology in Architecture Design.

Special consideration is given to representational aspects, mapping, and the visualization strategies of urban complexity where these are used as tools to define Architectural hypotheses and responses.
