As international fee-paying students do not have access to a loan scheme they have the option to pay their teaching period (trimester/semester) tuition fees by instalments.
International tuition fees are due and payable in full by the due date indicated on the invoice.
However, if paying by instalments, 50% of the assessed course tuition fees are payable by the due date indicated on the invoice. The remaining balance is due, no later than 1 month after the census date (refer to the dates below). This option only applies to the course tuition fees.
Please note - All other University fees and charges must be paid in full by the due date specified on the invoice.
The payment by instalment option is not available for these teaching periods. Students studying in Higher Degree by Research quarters and Residential trimester must pay their tuition fees in full by the due date indicated on the invoice.
A census date is the date when your enrolment arrangements must be finalised. There are different census dates for each teaching period. These census dates are set by Deakin University in accordance with Higher Education Support Act 2003.
