"Before I came to Australia, I was a university student in Japan, majoring in international communications. I was very interested in communicating with people from other cultures in English, which led me to come to Deakin to study English.
At DUELI, I made a lot of friends from different countries. It is interesting that we can understand and laugh with each other even though our English is not perfect. We usually organize parties and have fun together.
Being able to come to Australia has been an important experience for me. I am very glad to be able to study at DUELI. The teachers are very friendly and always encourage us to improve our English skills. I am able to improve my English skills because of their support.
