Overview        

Semester in Australia (105 KB) offers a stress-free accommodation and arrivals service. Students can pre-arrange shared student off-campus rental accommodation in fully furnished, convenient and affordable housing that students would not usually be able to secure until their arrival in Australia. Students are matched up to share a 2, 3, or 4 bedroom house/apartment.
As part of our housing service, students are provided with pre-departure and arrival assistance, making the transition to living and studying in Australia much easier. Upon arrival, students are settled into their accommodation by our on-site Resident Director and provided with a Welcome Pack containing essential arrival information on living and studying at your Australian university.  Included in the pack is:

• - information on what you need to do to get started at university
• - campus and city maps
• - lists of things to see/do
• - public transport information
• - a phone card, making it easier to call home
• - important phone numbers and essential information
• - wireless internet set-up

Semester in Australia housing is close to campus, public transport, the city, shopping, entertainment, cafés and restaurants. The Semester Housing Fee includes rent for the entire trimester (18 weeks), utilities connection and usage fees (electricity, gas and water) and the Semester in Australia service fee (eg pre-arranging and securing off-campus housing, the arrivals service and on-site Resident Director, etc).

Bedroom: Single bed, bedside table, wardrobe, desk, chair (small room:  single bed, bedside table wardrobe only).
Kitchen: fridge, oven, stove, cupboards, sink, benches and stocked with everything you need for cooking and eating (pots and pans, cutlery, plates, glassware etc)
Living: TV, TV stand, coffee table and lounge
Laundry: washing machine and dryer or clothesline
Bathrooms: Bathrooms: shower, toilet, sink
Other: Resident Director, outdoor garden/s, living and social area

Price range From AUD$135 per week - all inclusive. AUD$400 refundable bond/security deposit.

Overview         Geelong Cityside Accommodation (formerly known as Villamanta House) is a recently refurbished two storey house on the west side of the city, close to the cosmopolitan Pakington Street shopping and café precinct. The property is well situated for public transport and is a 10 minute walk to the Geelong Waterfront Campus and a 7 minute walk to the heart of the city. The accommodation has been designed specifically to cater for the needs of international students and the single room accommodation is fully furnished and air conditioned. The rent is inclusive of utilities such as electricity, gas and water. The accommodation is non-smoking.

Bedrooms: double mattress, fridge, desk/chair, hanging space, linen package $95, TV aerial point and phone point. Sofa in Deluxe rooms.
Kitchen: large communal kitchen and dining room with large fridge, own lockable cupboard
