Accommodation

As a Study Abroad and Exchange student, you have the option of applying at any of our on-campus residences, enjoy a homestay experience or receive assisted off-campus accommodation on arrival.

Please fill in the the housing preference form to organise your housing at Deakin University. Demand for on-campus residences is high and allocation is on a first-come, first-serve basis.

When deciding which option to apply for, you should take into account the following:

• cost (e.g. weekly rent)
• type of accommodation (shared room, single room)
• number of tenants
• facilities available (e.g. laundry, shared kitchen)
• meals (i.e. provided or self-catered)
• distance to campus
• location and access to facilities (e.g. close to shops, transport, beaches)
• tenancy agreements and payment schedules.
