International Postgraduate Research Scholarships (IPRS)
The Endeavour International Postgraduate Research Scholarship (hereafter referred to as IPRS) is funded by the Australian Government and awarded to international students wishing to undertake graduate research degree studies at the University.
Benefits and conditions
- Scholarships are open to international students of all countries (except New Zealand) and are available for a period of two years for a Research Masters degree or three years for a Research Doctorate degree.
- The scholarship covers tuition fees and health cover costs for scholarship holders, and health cover costs for their dependants.
- From 2011, commencing IPRS recipients will be able to apply for an Australian Postgraduate Award.

Eligibility criteria
To be considered for an IPRS, applicants need to have an unconditional offer of a place in a graduate research degree course (eg. masters by research, PhD or other research doctorate) at Deakin University.

Closing date and timelines
Applications open 1 April and close 31 July. All applicants must submit their completed online applications for admission by 31 July.
