Dean's Scholars Program - Commerce

The Dean’s Scholars Program provides prestigious scholarships in the Bachelor of Commerce at the Melbourne Burwood Campus. This flexible, broadly based business degree provides career opportunities in virtually every area of business and government. As a Dean’s Scholar you are provided with an academic mentor and have the opportunity to accelerate your program and prepare for advanced/honours work.

As a Dean’s Scholar you may extend your scholarship if enrolling in the Bachelor of Commerce (Honours).

Value

Cash payment of up to $2800 per year and academic mentor support, subject to academic performance.

Duration

Three years (pro-rata).

Up to seven

Eligibility

To be eligible for this scholarship you must be:

  • an Australian citizen or holder of an Australian permanent humanitarian visa
  • a commencing student (current Year 12) enrolled in a Bachelor of Commerce degree in a Commonwealth supported place at the Melbourne Burwood Campus.

Selection criteria

Academic excellence based on the ATAR achieved.

How to apply

Students who list the Deakin Commerce (Dean's Scholars Program VTAC course code 14161) on their VTAC course application will automatically be considered for this scholarship.
