Deakin Academic Scholarships
If you are a high-achieving student and completed your VCE in 2012, consider applying for one of our academic scholarships, to cover your student contributions, so you can focus on your university studies.
Value
Total value $7,500 per year, combination of cash and student contribution available plus academic mentor support.
Duration
Normal duration of the course, subject to satisfactory academic performance.
Number per year
Four (one per Faculty)
Eligibility
To be eligible for this scholarship you must be:
- an Australian citizen or holder of an Australian permanent humanitarian visa
- enrolling in the first year of an undergraduate course of study in Trimester 1 2013 for the first time at Deakin University
- enrolled full-time in a Commonwealth Supported Place
Selection criteria
You must be a top VCE student in 2012 enrolling full time in an undergraduate degree course at Deakin University in a Commonwealth supported place.
Special conditions
You must remain on the same campus for the duration of the course.
How to apply
VTAC course applicants are automatically considered for this scholarship. A separate scholarship application form is not required.
Closing date
Based on the VTAC course application date.
Timely applications close 28 September 2012.
