The Harold Carroll Memorial Scholarship

If you are from the Western District of Victoria, you should consider applying for this scholarship, which was established by the late Harold Carroll in 2003, for students from this district and a financially disadvantaged background, to assist with the costs of university education.

Eligibility

To be eligible for this scholarship you must be:

  • an Australian citizen or holder of an Australian permanent humanitarian visa
  • from the Western District of Victoria
  • a commencing or current student enrolled full time in an undergraduate degree in a Commonwealth supported place
  • have undertaken some part of your education at a school in the Western District
  • able to demonstrate you are in receipt of a means-tested Centrelink benefit or have a personal or family taxable income below the HECS-HELP repayment threshold, depending on independence status.

Selection criteria

Your application will be assessed and ranked based on the information you provide in your application and supporting documentation.
