Deakin Indigenous Bursaries
The Deakin Indigenous Bursaries aim to reduce the student contributions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students enrolled in their first 8 credit points by 20 per cent.
Value
Payment of 20 per cent of the student contributions for the student’s first 8 credit points of study for non-National Priority units.
Duration
First 8 credit points of study on commencement (equivalent to one year of full-time study).
Number per year
All students satisfying the eligibility and selection criteria.
Eligibility
To be eligible for this scholarship you must be:

a commencing Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander student in a Commonwealth supported place.
Selection criteria
Enrolled to study at the Institute of Koorie Education
