If you are a commencing student from the south-west Victoria region and come from a financially disadvantaged background, you should consider applying for this scholarship to cover your accommodation costs.
Value
Up to $8000 per year towards annual accommodation costs in Deakin University Residences at the Warrnambool Campus.

Normal duration of the course, subject to satisfactory academic performance.

Eligibility
To be eligible for this scholarship you must be:

an Australian citizen, or holder of an Australian permanent humanitarian visa
- a commencing student enrolled full time in an undergraduate degree at the Warrnambool Campus in a Commonwealth supported place
- a resident of the south-west Victoria region
- able to demonstrate you are in receipt of a means-tested Centrelink benefit or have a personal or family taxable income below the HECS repayment threshold, depending on independence status.

Your application will be assessed and ranked based on the information you provide in your application and supporting documentation.
