Dean's Scholars Program - Science and Technology Academic Scholarships for High Achievers

The Dean’s Scholars Program aims to recognise, reward and nurture high achieving students. Up to five scholarships will be awarded annually across the Faculty of Science and Technology in Architecture and Construction Management, Environmental Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Science, Biomedical Science, Biological Science, and Forensic Science.

Value

Cash payment or student contributions of up to $5000 per year and academic mentor support.

As a Dean’s Scholar you will also be offered a professional development program and have a high chance of being selected for the Science and Technology Industry-Based Learning (IBL) program.

Eligibility

To be eligible for this scholarship you must be:

  • an Australian citizen or holder of an Australian permanent humanitarian visa
  • a commencing student (recently completed Year 12 in Australia) enrolled in one of the undergraduate courses offered by the Faculty of Science and Technology in a Commonwealth supported place.

Selection criteria

Selection will be based on ATAR (minimum 90) plus interview (only offered to short listed students).

To apply for this program you must list the Faculty of Science and Technology Dean’s Scholars Program at Deakin University on your VTAC course application and submit an application directly to the Faculty.
