This scholarship is open to students from the Warrnambool area or the south-west district of Victoria, who are studying in their final year of undergraduate studies at the Warrnambool or Geelong campuses.

Contribution or cash payment of up to $4000 per year.

Eligibility

To be eligible for this scholarship you must be:

  • an Australian citizen or holder of an Australian permanent humanitarian visa
  • from Warrnambool or the south-western district of Victoria
  • final year student enrolled full time in an undergraduate degree in a Commonwealth supported place
  • able to demonstrate you are in receipt of a means-tested Centrelink benefit or have a personal or family taxable income below the HECS-HELP repayment threshold, depending on independence status.

Selection criteria

Your application will be assessed and ranked based on the information you provide in your application and supporting documentation.

As part of the application process you will also be required to send supporting documentation to the Scholarships Office by 24 December 2012.
