The Western District Employment Access (WDEA) Charitable Trust Access and Equity Scholarship

The WDEA Charitable Trust Access and Equity Scholarship was established to provide scholarships for students from the Western District of Victoria living in disadvantaged circumstances, to allow them to undertake studies at tertiary level.

Eligibility

To be eligible for this scholarship applicants must be:

  • an Australian citizen, or holder of an Australian permanent humanitarian visa;
  • a commencing or current undergraduate student enrolled in a Commonwealth supported place at the Warrnambool Campus
  • experiencing a long-term medical condition/disability
  • from the western districts of Victoria
  • either a recipient of a Centrelink benefit or can demonstrate that they have a personal or family taxable income below the HECS-HELP repayment threshold depending on independence status

Selection criteria

Your application will be assessed and ranked based on the information you provide in your application and supporting documentation.

Closing Date

Applications for 2013 will close 25 February 2013.

Supporting documentation

As part of the application process you will also be required to send supporting documentation to the Scholarships Office by 25 February 2013.
