- About Deakin
An ambitious redevelopment program over the past few years has transformed the Melbourne Burwood Campus into a contemporary, customised learning environment, including distinctive new buildings that are now landmarks in the Burwood area. The campus has many services and facilities for use for students, staff and the general public.
Art Collection and Galleries
As the hub of a contemporary arts precinct at Deakin, the Art Gallery provides substantial space and facilities for professionally curated exhibitions drawn from the University's art collection, group and solo exhibitions by significant contemporary artists, travelling exhibitions and selected student work.
There is a Redi ATM located on the ground floor of Building C just outside The DUSA General Store and an ANZ ATM in Building HD. There is also an ANZ branch located on the Melbourne Burwood Campus in Building HD.
Campus bookshops provide just about everything you need for your studies: academic and general books, stationery, calculators, computer software and art and photographic materials. Go to the DUSA Bookshop for more information.
A campus shop sells cards, confectionery, stationery and newspapers.
The Deakin and Community Childcare Centre (Melbourne) is open from 7.45 am to 6.00 pm Monday to Friday and most Public Holidays. Care is offered on a full time, part time or occasional care basis.
The campus has several busy eateries including Einstein's restaurant and bar, a main cafeteria and the Plateau Cafe, Jooce Box and The Internet Library Cafe.
