Deakin Medical Centres

Deakin Medical Centres are located on each campus of Deakin University.  The Medical Centres are staffed by nurses and doctors.  The Centres provide students access to youth focused, non –judgemental and confidential medical services.  All services are bulk billed or billed through the Overseas Health Funds for students with valid cards.  The staff at Deakin Medical centres are highly skilled and have an interest in working in a youth focused environment. 

These services include

  • General Medical consultations
  • Management of mental health issues
  • Women’s health
  • Men’s Health
  • Sexual Health including pregnancy counselling, contraception, STI checks
  • Health education for issues including diet, exercise, stress management
  • Referral to other health services and practitioners
