Deakin University offers a wide range of information technology services to support students throughout their academic career.
All students can access computer laboratories on Deakin campuses, including general access computer labs, bookable labs, assistive technology workstations, Library workstations, internet cafe, and JOBshop workstations. There is a combination of PC and Mac labs on each campus with a comprehensive suite of software installed on all laboratory workstations. Photocopying, printing and scanning services are available in computer labs and libraries.
All Deakin University students receive a Deakin email address as well as file storage capacity on one of the University's file servers to save documents to. Students are provided with an internet access quota to assist with study purposes. The University has an extensive wireless network that can be accessed from students' laptops in many areas around campus.
