The Deakin Foundation has been established by the University to provide a focus for philanthropic giving to Deakin. The goal of the Deakin Foundation is to increase the momentum of Deakin's fundraising efforts by enlisting the participation and guidance of leading philanthropists.

With the concept of 'partnerships' playing a key role in Deakin's strategic outlook, the Deakin Foundation aims to establish and nurture long term relationships with philanthropists, business and industry, and the community for the ongoing development of Deakin University.

Previous gifts have supported scholarships for students, research that makes a difference, and the beautification of the University's campuses through artworks and building endowments.

The Deakin Foundation is led by a dedicated Board of Directors who support priority funding areas within the University.
