Vocational Education and Training Programs (VET)
Undergraduate Management Courses
The Faculty of Business and Law offers an articulated suite of undergraduate
courses in management in association with DeakinPrime. These courses
are available only to Deakin’s corporate clients and strategic
partners. The program has considerable flexibility to meet the needs
of these organisations. The program provides management education pathway is readily oriented
to the needs of frontline managers at University Certificate and Diploma level,
with the opportunity to articulate to Associate degree and Bachelor degree level study. The program incorporates a range of subjects
at University Certificate
and Diploma level that are specifically designed for DeakinPrime's corporate clients and are supported by flexible learning materials.
The courses are:
University Certificate of Management M153
4 credit points, equivalent to one semester of full-time study.
Diploma of Management M152
8 credit points, equivalent to one year of full-time study.
Associate Degree of Management M200
16 credit points, equivalent to two years of full-time study.
Bachelor of Management M302
24 credit points, equivalent to three years of full-time study.

Postgraduate Management Courses
In association with DeakinPrime, the Faculty of Business and Law offers two postgraduate courses as a
corporate pathway into its MBA program.
These courses are available only to corporate clients. The courses
provide
a grounding in management education oriented to the needs of middle managers,
with the opportunity to articulate into the Faculty MBA.
The courses are:
Graduate Certificate of Corporate Management M502
4 credit points, equivalent to one semester of full-time study.
Graduate Diploma of Management M600
8 credit points, equivalent to one year of full-time study.

Postgraduate Human Resources Course
The Faculty of Business and Law, in conjunction with the Australian
Human Resources Institute (AHRI), offers a specialist postgraduate course
by distance education designed to provide a formal qualification for
human resource professionals working in business, government and industry.
The course aims to meet the needs of senior management whose duties require
them to take on responsibilities in human resources development.
The course is:

Ford Motor Company
Deakin University, in collaboration with the Ford Motor Company, has developed
a range of courses in which content and delivery have been customised to
meet the needs of Ford employees. Courses include the Associate Degree of
Technology and Bachelor of Engineering offered in a range of specialisations
and other programs offered through DeakinPrime.
