Deakin Occupational Therapy Society

The Deakin Occupational Therapy Society (DOTS), founded in 2013, is a student initiative that strives to provide opportunities for allied health and OT students to network and be involved in the wider occupational therapy and health communities.

Based at Deakin's Waterfront campus as an official Deakin University Student Association (DUSA) society, the DOTS encourages mentorship between all levels of study in the Bachelor of Occupational Therapy and enables students to participate in both social and academic events.

Activities that the DOTS run throughout the academic year include themed guest speaker evenings, alumni presentations and trips to relevant health conventions, seminars and interest groups. The DOTS also facilitates the development of friendships through the running of social events both on and off campus.
