Role and profile
Research Fellow in Occupational Physiology – planning and conducting research looking at the physical, physiological and cognitive demands faced by firefighers during bushfire suppression and in particular, under conditions of sleep deprivation, hot environments and toxic exposure.
Research interests
Thermoregulation, fatigue, physiological responses to stress, the female menstrual cycle and athletic/work performance, carbon monoxide and other toxic environmental stressors.
