Role and profile
Dr Brad Aisbett is a Senior Lecturer in the School of Exercise and Nutrition Sciences. He teaches Exercise Prescription at the undergraduate level and also coordinates the practicum placement for Bachelor of Exercise and Sport Science students. Dr Aisbett supervises higher degree by research students and is an active researcher in health and safety of Australia’s fire and emergency service workers.

Research Interests
Dr Aisbett’s research group is focussed on promoting and preserving the health, safety, and wellbeing of emergency service workers. The group’s current research, supported by the Australasian Fire Authorities Council through the Bushfire Co-Operative Research Centre focuses on job‐specific fitness, fatigue, hydration and nutrition, and cardiovascular health of Australia’s firefighters.
