Irene Serebryanikova is a Research Fellow in the area of nutrition and physical activity, part of the Behavioural Epidemiology Group in the School of Exercise and Nutrition Sciences. She is currently working on the InFANT study aimed at testing the effectiveness of a community intervention delivered to first-time parents, which focuses on the development of positive diet, physical activity and low-level sedentary behaviours from infancy.
Irene Serebryanikova’s research interests include nutrition and physical activity of children (and the influences on these behaviours). Other research interests consist of breastfeeding promotion and food security of vulnerable populations.
