Dr Ridgers has reviewed manuscripts for 17 international journals and reviews research applications for national and international funding bodies.
She has also acted as a PhD examiner, been invited on to a validation panel for sports-related degrees, and sat on a number of local government and non-government panels in relation to population physical activity and health.
