Health Promotion

The Bachelor of Public Health and Health Promotion degree assists students to develop a wide range of knowledge and practical skills such as the ability to analyse the determinants of health and illness among communities and populations and to develop approaches which lead to improvements in health.

Social Work

The four-year Bachelor of Social Work course provides a progressive and innovative approach to social work with emphasis on personal, community and social development in urban/rural and local/global contexts.

Occupational Therapy

The Bachelor of Occupational Therapy at Deakin aims to develop understanding of the complexity of human occupation and how health and wellbeing is promoted through occupation. This course prepares students to work with individuals and groups in a range of health and related practice settings, in urban, regional and rural locations.
