Bethany is pleased to have the opportunity to place students from Deakin University within the various program areas.
These students bring an enthusiasm and often give the agency the opportunity to look at the sector and the way it works with the community from a different perspective.
Students undertaking placement at Bethany have the opportunity to obtain a vast array of experience ranging from support, case management, counselling, advocacy and group work. The broad range of programs offer students insights into different sectors across the human services field including Justice, Family Services, Gambling, Housing and Homelessness. Also, students have the opportunity to work within schools doing early intervention work in the areas of family violence and engaging families, particularly fathers in other relationships with their children. All students are fully supervised by a qualified, highly skilled and experienced professionals.
