Ms Nevill’s main research interest focuses on how older migrant populations who have experienced a major crime against humanity such as genocide develop and maintain levels of well being, hence shifting from the traditional trauma perspective widely published in the health and medical literature. She is also interested in the role of tradition and ritual, including religion, upon the wellbeing of these diasporic populations.
