Role and profile
Dr Brendan Condon is the Medical Educator in the Greater Green Triangle Rural Clinical School within the Deakin Medical School, and a practising general practitioner. Having grown up in regional Victoria, Dr Condon brings a heartfelt enthusiasm for the rural and regional focus of the Deakin Medical School. He is confident that the School can deliver world-class teaching, producing graduates with a broad and integrated medical knowledge.
Teaching responsibilities
As Medical Educator Dr Condon is a member of the team responsible for coordinating the delivery of the Years 3 and 4 curriculum at the South West Healthcare campus and provides clinical education to the students.
Memberships
Dr Condon is a fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.
Service to the University, discipline or community
Dr Condon has a strong involvement in the local general practice community. He is a member of the board of the Otway Division of General Practice, is the chair of the regional ‘Limited Adverse Outcomes Screening’ clinical risk management committee, and is a practising rural GP.
