The Bachelor of Nursing and Midwifery gives you the opportunity to develop the specialist skills related to midwifery in addition to those of a Registered Nurse. Nursing and midwifery at Deakin has a strong emphasis on hands-on practical experience preparing you for employment in the real world.
The Bachelor of Nursing and Psychology is well suited to those interested in the growing field of mental health nursing. It will prepare you with a strong understanding of research methods in psychology and human behaviour and will provide you with the knowledge and skills to comprehensively care for patients.
Our Clinical Simulation Centres incorporate high and low fidelity simulation to assist your learning and transition towards independent nursing practice.
